Mash transfer from mash pot to sparge bucket

Probably don’t have to with a Phil's Phalse bottom but I always put some foundation water in before I start the transfer. Using a pint cup I start ladling the mash over to the bucket. I try to lay it onto the bottom as gently as I can and just keep ladling until it is all transferred. I use a rubber spatula to get everything out of the mash pot into the sparge bucket. I then rinse out the mash bucket because it will now be my wort collection pot and then my boiler. The bottom left photo shows the mash just after having been transferred. Above it is the colander I use to sprinkle the sparge water.
